You have arrived at Défis de la Roulette. If you are to recover the Wellspring, you must learn all that you can about this casino and the cult that operates it.

The stray glances that you have started attracting from the dealers and guards have become more frequent. In a shadowed corner, a group of uniformed security gathers together in conversation. As you watch them, one looks at you and points in your direction. They begin to head your way...

Défis de la Roulette is bustling on this busy night — the perfect cover for you and your crew. You hope that your long days of planning will pay off.
Forced - At the start of the enemy phase: Each investigator who is at the same location as a ready Casino enemy raises their alarm level by 1.
Forced - After an investigator defeats a Casino enemy: Raise that investigator's alarm level by 1.

A voice from the roulette tables cuts clearly through the din of the entire casino: "Red 19!" Someone nearby shouts in excitement. A few moments later, the same voice calls out once more: "Red 19 hits again!" You hear murmurings around you. Such an event is highly improbable. For a moment, you feel a small crackling in the air, but you shrug it off. Then, just when normalcy seems to have reasserted itself, the voice calls out once more in disbelief: "Red 19 a third time!" The crackling is unmistakable this time and begins to intensify until everything seems to blur for a moment. When your vision clears, a terrible creature beyond all imagining stands in the middle of the crowded casino, towering above the humans surrounding it. With a sinking feeling, you remember Isamara's warning that the relic's presence might invite disaster. If that wasn't bad enough, said disaster will fall on those who are not favored by the bearer of the Wellspring.
Spawn the set-aside Dimensional Shambler at the Roulette Wheel. Shuffle the encounter discard pile and the set-aside Plan in Shambles encounter set into the encounter deck.
Raise each investigator's alarm level by 1.

The heist has become more complicated than you could have ever imagined. Terrifying monsters have appeared on the casino floor. The patrons, however, seem to be in a daze, while the staff continue to watch for suspicious activity. Can they not see the danger they are all in?

Just when it seems like things couldn't get any worse, there is a strange transformation in the atmosphere of the casino, the calm before a storm. Then, like the last gasp before drowning, the storm of misfortune breaks...
Shuffle the 3 set-aside Fortune's Disfavor story cards and select 1 of them at random, resolving its text.
Raise each investigator's alarm level by 1.

The cult is against you. Creatures from beyond time and space are against you. Now fortune itself is against you. No one said this would be easy.

You try desperately to escape, but your luck has run out at last. Several cultists wearing familiar coin medallions block your way out. Behind you, the horrifying creatures that were summoned by the Wellspring's power rampage through the casino. Chaos erupts around you. It is only then the crowds and the casino security seem to finally notice the horrible truth lurking within the casino. You try your best to fend off both the creatures and the cultists, and you barely escape with your life.
Each investigator who did not resign is defeated and suffers 1 physical trauma. (→R3)

Act 1
You must tread carefully, as arousing suspicion may ruin your plans before they have even begun.
U After you trigger the T ability on a Game location: Remove 1 clue from The Wellspring of Fortune (2 clues instead if you gained resources from the Game location's ability).
Objective - Accomplish as many tasks as you can and get out before you are noticed! If each undefeated investigator has resigned, advance.

With one last parting glance, you exit the casino. You're confident that none of the dealers or security suspected you for anything other than what you pretended to be: just another hopeful gambler. Regardless of any money that you made or lost tonight, your real winnings will be the information that you were able to gather. You hope that it will be enough to prepare you for the improbable scheme that you must now concoct and pull off.
Each investigator who was defeated raises their alarm level by 2.
If the investigators, as a group, possess 10 R or more resources, remember that you “cleaned out the house.” (→R2)

The Take
Act 2
The heist begins. You must open the vault door, locate the Wellspring, make it past the mystical defenses, and find a way to open the container that holds it.
U After you trigger the T ability on a Game location: Remove 1 clue from The Wellspring of Fortune (2 clues instead if you gained resources from the Game location's ability).
Objective - If an investigator controls The Wellspring of Fortune, advance.

If Abarran Arrigorriagakoa is in the victory display...
Just as you are ready to celebrate victory, a voice calls from the door behind you. "You come into my casino and steal from me?" Abarran stands there, shaking with fury. "You'll ruin everything I built. But I won't let you!" Any front of professionalism has been dropped. The true danger of the man has been revealed.Move Abarran Arrigorriagakoa (Abarran Unleashed) to Relic Room.
If Abarran Arrigorriagakoa is in the victory display...
A ragged voice gasps from behind you. "I won't let you take it!" Abarran is somehow still on his feet in the doorway behind you. Although he looks ready to collapse, his eyes burn with hatred. Before you can stop him, he slams his fist against some kind of mechanism on the wall before slumping to the ground. Large sections of the solid steel ceiling begin to fall from above...Each investigator must test J (3). Each investigator who fails takes 2 damage.

一個憤怒的聲音嘶聲到：“我不會讓你帶走它！”阿巴蘭不知為何還能站著，他倚靠在你身後的門廊邊。即使他看起來搖搖欲墜，但眼中的恨意卻仍在沸騰。在你還來不及阻止他的時候，他的手捶上牆上某種機關，然後倒地不起。大塊大塊的鋼製天花板開始從你頭上砸落……每位調查員必須檢定J(3)。每位檢定失敗的調查員受到2點傷害。
The Exit
Act 3
Getting in was one thing, but now you must make it out with your prize. It feels as if the whole casino stands between you and the world outside.
Each Casino enemy loses aloof and patrol.
Each Casino enemy gains hunter and "Prey - Investigator that controls The Wellspring of Fortune."
Objective - If the investigator with The Wellspring of Fortune has resigned, advance. (Beware - any investigator who has not resigned will be left behind!)
↶ Flip Side
There were times when you weren't sure whether you would make it out of the casino with your skin and soul intact, but here you stand. It almost feels like a dream, but you can still hear a commotion inside. It's time to leave this place behind and make yourself scarce.
Each investigator who has not resigned is defeated and suffers 1 physical trauma. (→R1)
出口

進來是一回事；出去又是另一回事了。你現在必須帶著你的戰利品逃離，感覺像是整座賭場都擋在你與自由之間。
